Anatoly Skripay studied under the educator and musician Semyon Benditsky, a connection that played a defining role in the choice of his creative path. Benditsky recognized the young pianist's deep talent and accepted him into his class. Under Benditsky's attentive guidance, Skripay passed through important stages in the formation of his musical thinking, internal culture, and performance mastery.
The educational relationship spanned multiple levels, beginning with lessons in music school, continuing at the Saratov Music College, and concluding at the Saratov Conservatory, from which Skripay graduated with honors in 1968. Skripay is recognized as a representative of the major piano school established by Benditsky.
