Felicita von Vestvali studied under the acclaimed German actress and singer Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient. After returning to Leipzig from a touring engagement with Wilhelm Bröckelmann’s troupe, Vestvali was discovered by Schröder-Devrient, who recognized her talent and accepted her as a student.
Under Schröder-Devrient’s guidance and support, Vestvali was able to make her debut at the Altes Theater in Leipzig in the role of Agathe in Carl Maria von Weber’s opera Der Freischütz. This mentorship marked a decisive turning point in Vestvali’s artistic development and early career.
