Johann Walther → Johann Buttstett

Johann Gottfried Walther studied under Johann Heinrich Buttstett in Erfurt, where Buttstett served as organist and teacher at the Predigerkirche. Buttstett, an important representative of the south German organ tradition, provided Walther with musical training during the period when he surrounded himself with a circle of pupils.
