Leokadiya Kashperova studied piano under Anton Rubinstein from 1888 to 1891. She is listed among the students who studied in his piano class at the conservatory. After Rubinstein's departure, she continued to study piano independently for two years before graduating as an external student in 1893.
Kashperova was deeply influenced by Rubinstein, remaining under the charm of her teacher and sharing his views. She also authored unfinished memoirs titled "Memoirs about A. G. Rubinstein".
