Lev Naumov → Lev Mazel

Lev Naumov studied analysis under Lev Mazel at the Moscow Conservatory, graduating from the piano faculty in 1951. Following his studies, Naumov worked as an assistant to Professor Mazel in the class of analysis of musical forms from 1955 to 1957. Naumov later dedicated conversations to Mazel in his book Under the Sign of Neuhaus.
