Lyudmila Ginzburg completed her postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory in 1946 in the class of Professor Heinrich Neuhaus. At her final postgraduate examination in Neuhaus's class in 1946, she performed Sergei Prokofiev's Second Piano Concerto together with Sviatoslav Richter.
Following the completion of her studies, Ginzburg was invited to the position of assistant in the class of her professor and supervisor, Neuhaus, a role she held for a short time. Her own pedagogical method was characterized by the inheritance of Neuhaus's unique methodological traditions and principles.
