Marianna Chernyavska studied piano under Professor Maria Yeshchenko at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts (now the Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky). She graduated from Yeshchenko's class in 1990.
During her studies in Yeshchenko's class, Chernyavska achieved significant competitive success, including winning the first prize at the First Inter-Republican Heino Eller Piano Competition in Tallinn in 1987. She is identified as one of Yeshchenko's prominent students who became laureates and diploma winners of various musical competitions.
