Michał Kleofas Ogiński studied violin performance in Italy under Giovanni Battista Viotti. After his early training with Osip Kozlovsky and Giovanni Giornovichi, Ogiński continued his musical development by perfecting his technique with Viotti, one of the most influential violinists of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
