Natan Benditsky was the son of Semyon Solomonovich Benditsky, a pianist and pedagogue. He was a child from Semyon Benditsky's second marriage.
In 1966, Natan Benditsky entered the L. V. Sobinov Saratov State Conservatory, where he studied in the class of his father, Professor S. S. Benditsky. Semyon Benditsky created a major piano school represented by Natan Benditsky.
