Theodor Gutman → Heinrich Neuhaus

Teodor Gutman studied under Heinrich Neuhaus. Initially, while at the conservatory in Kyiv, Gutman studied for two years in the class of Józef Turczyński, and then under Neuhaus. In 1926, Gutman entered Neuhaus's class and moved to Moscow. Five years later, he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory with a gold medal and became an assistant in Neuhaus's class.
