Yuri Bogdanov began his piano training at the age of four under the guidance of Anna Artobolevskaya. He continued his studies with her at the Central Music School attached to the Moscow Conservatory. Bogdanov is recognized as one of Artobolevskaya's notable students. Additionally, he became a co-founder and vice-president of the A. D. Artobolevskaya Music Fund.
