Alexander Uninsky (15 February 1910, Kyiv – 19 December 1972, Dallas) was an American pianist of Ukrainian origin. He studied at the Kyiv Conservatory with Sergei Tarnovsky and from 1923 continued his education in Paris with Lazare Levy.

From 1927 he toured widely. His favored composer was Fre9de9ric Chopin, and in 1932 he won first prize at the Second International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. In the 1950s and 1960s he made numerous recordings of Chopin's music.

Until the Second World War Uninsky lived mainly in France and served in the French army in 1939 f0. He then traveled via Latin America to the United States, making his Carnegie Hall debut in 1942.

From 1955 he was a professor at the Toronto Conservatory, and later at Southern Methodist University in the United States. His students included Dubravka Tomsic and David Golub.
