Juro Tkalčić (February 13, 1877 – December 15, 1957) was a Croatian cellist and composer. Born in Zagreb, he studied cello in his hometown under Jan Oertl, and later continued his education in Vienna and Paris after 1895.

His teaching career took him across Europe; he taught at the conservatory in Versailles from 1904 to 1914, followed by work in Germany and Romania. In 1920, he returned to Zagreb to serve as a professor at the Zagreb Academy of Music, where noted cellist Rudolf Matz was among his students. Subsequently, he taught in Belgrade from 1927 to 1941.

As a performer, Tkalčić was active in chamber music. In 1923, alongside Hugo Mihalovich, he premiered Dora Pejačević's Sonata for Cello and Piano. He frequently performed in a duo with pianist Ćiril Ličar, and together they were members of the Belgrade Trio and the Belgrade Quartet.

Tkalčić's compositions include a Cello Concerto in A minor, works for chamber ensembles, and solo pieces for cello. His musical style adheres to the late romantic tradition. His works have been recorded by cellist Željko Švaglić, and a portrait of the composer was painted by Tomislav Krizman in 1923.
