Leonid Alexandrovich Maksimov (15 November 1873, Ryazan – 14 January 1904, Moscow) was a Russian pianist, music teacher, and publicist.

He received his initial training under Nikolai Zverev at Zverev's music boarding school, studying alongside Mikhail Presman and Sergei Rachmaninoff. He then continued his education at the Moscow Conservatory with Alexander Siloti and Paul Pabst, graduating in 1892.

After completing his studies he toured as a concert pianist around Russia for two years. From 1894 to 1897 he taught in the music classes of the Russian Musical Society in Astrakhan, and from 1897 to 1899 he served as director of the music classes in Tomsk.

In 1901 he became professor of piano at the Music and Drama School of the Moscow Philharmonic Society. From 1902 he also worked for the music section of the newspaper Russkoye Slovo, signing articles and reviews under the pseudonym Dinoel. He died in Moscow in January 1904.
