Nataliia Viktorivna Goretska is a distinguished Ukrainian pianist, musicologist, and pedagogue. She holds the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine (2017) and is a Professor and Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy. She received her musical education at the Odessa State Conservatory under Professor L.N. Ginzburg and the Kharkiv State Institute of Arts under Professor N.O. Melnikova, later completing an internship in the class of Dmitri Bashkirov.

As a performer, Goretska has appeared on concert stages both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She has collaborated with notable musicians such as N. Melnikova, T. Shevchenko, and M. Chernyavska, and has performed at international festivals in Ukraine, Latvia, and Sweden. Her professional qualifications include concert performer, teacher, concertmaster, and chamber ensemble soloist.

Currently, she serves as the Head of the Special Piano Department at the Kharkiv National University of Arts. Her pedagogical career is extensive, having trained over 50 graduates, many of whom have become laureates of prestigious international competitions including the Smetana International Piano Competition and the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition. She frequently serves as a jury member for music competitions in Ukraine and abroad.

In addition to her artistic activities, Goretska is an active scholar. She has authored numerous scientific articles in Ukrainian and foreign publications, focusing on topics such as the piano cycles of Robert Schumann and Olivier Messiaen, as well as educational motivation. She regularly participates in scientific conferences and heads specialized councils for awarding degrees in arts.
