Panagiotis Trochopoulos is a Greek pianist born on November 14, 1982, in Veria. He is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, where he completed his studies in 2006 as a student of Nikolai Petrov.

He gained significant recognition in 2005 after performing Pavel Pabst's Piano Concerto in Minsk under the baton of conductor Marius Stravinsky. A concert recording of this work, paired with Sergei Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, was released by the Cameo Classics label.

In 2008, the same studio released the world's first disc featuring the works of Joseph Holbrooke, commemorating the composer's 130th anniversary, performed by Trochopoulos. Critics have praised the release, noting the 'perfection of both music and performance, varying from storm and passion to airiness and subtlety.'

Trochopoulos has performed concertos by Rachmaninoff, Johannes Brahms, and Sergei Prokofiev with orchestras in Russia, Bulgaria, and Romania. He has also toured extensively, giving performances in Greece, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the United States.
