Stanislav Genrikhovich Neuhaus was a distinguished Soviet pianist and pedagogue born in Moscow. He came from a renowned artistic lineage as the son of the famous pianist Heinrich Neuhaus and Zinaida Eremeeva-Neuhaus. Notably, he was raised in the family of his stepfather, the celebrated poet Boris Pasternak. His early musical education was completed at the Gnessin Music School in 1941, followed by a period of evacuation in Chistopol during World War II.

He continued his professional training at the Music College of the Moscow Conservatory, graduating in 1944. He then attended the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied under his father, graduating in 1950 and completing his postgraduate studies in 1953. Neuhaus established himself as a significant figure in the Russian piano tradition, carrying forward the legacy of his father's teaching method.

Neuhaus began his pedagogical activities in 1957 and became a highly respected teacher. His roster of students included world-renowned pianists such as Vladimir Krainev, Radu Lupu, Brigitte Engerer, and his own son, Stanislav Bunin. In recognition of his artistic achievements, he was designated a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1978. He passed away in Moscow in 1980.
