Yevgeny Vladimirovich Wolf-Israel (August 7, 1872 – September 26, 1956) was a distinguished Russian and Soviet cellist. He held the titles of Honored Artist of the Republic (1919) and Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR (1935). He was also the father of the poet Sergey Wolf.

He graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory in 1892, where he studied under Alexander Verzhbilovich. His performing career was closely tied to the Mariinsky Theatre, where he played in the orchestra for over five decades, from 1894 to 1951. As an ensemble performer, he appeared alongside notable musicians such as Alexander Siloti.

In addition to his performance career, Wolf-Israel was a dedicated educator. He began teaching at the Leningrad Conservatory in 1921, leading the cello class until 1950 and subsequently the quartet class. He became a professor in 1926. His students included Grigory Pekker and Boris Struve. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour in 1939 and was buried at the Bogoslovskoye Cemetery in Saint Petersburg.
